Delivery costs for parcel service

Up to a weight of 35 kg, we offer delivery by parcel service.

Shipping via parcel service is free of charge within Germany and Austria from a value of goods of €29. Below that, shipping costs of €5.90 will be charged. Shipping to all other countries* is free of charge from a shopping cart value of €69.00. Below that, shipping costs of €9.90 will be charged.

If you order more than one item and they are shipped by parcel service, it may happen that your order is sent in several packages at different times, so that the order can be delivered as soon as possible. However, you will always receive the remaining items in the course of the next few days.

Delivery costs for forwarding agency

Shipping by freight forwarding is free of charge to Germany, Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg from a shopping cart value of €289. For orders below this value, shipping costs of €49.90 will be charged for the forwarding delivery.
The shipping by freight forwarding to Italy and France is free of charge from a shopping cart value of €289. For orders below this value, shipping costs of €69.90 will be charged for the forwarding delivery. To all other countries not mentioned above, we do NOT offer forwarding delivery.


In case of a forwarding agency delivery, we ask you to indicate your telephone number (under which you are attainable during the day) in the order process, so that a problem-free delivery (notification by forwarding agency / truck) can be ensured.

IMPORTANT: Deliveries by freight forwarding / truck are made ONLY to the curb!

Please note that the shipping date agreed between you and the forwarding agent is binding. In case of non-acceptance of the goods on the agreed date and / or a second delivery, additional costs of €50 are charged.

You don't like your umbrella / parasol, or you only want to return part of the delivered goods? Absolutely no problem, Knirps guarantees you an unrestricted right of withdrawal until 30 days after receipt of the goods.

For pickup of forwarding company goods €39.90 will be charged. In order for the shipping company to handle the pickup smoothly, it is imperative that the goods are repackaged ready for transport, otherwise the shipping company will not be able to accept the items.

You can issue the shipping service provider with a parking permit for your delivery(s) via a corresponding drop-off permission.

You can track the status of your delivery with the tracking number that is automatically sent to you by e-mail. We are also happy to inform you about the status of your delivery by phone.

Within Germany our parcels are delivered with GLS or with DHL.

In Austria and all other countries the packages are delivered with DPD.


We are also happy to ship your goods to a different delivery address. So you can have your new Knirps umbrella delivered directly to your office or surprise someone with it. Simply enter the address where you would like to receive your shipment when placing your order.

You can also deliver the shipment to the nearest parcel store. For this, we ask you to specify the address of the nearby parcel store or post office branch as the delivery address.

Please note that only umbrellas and small accessories can be delivered to a parcel store or post-office.

Please note that with a different delivery address, payment by invoice is not possible, as this payment option is processed with an external service provider, who requires a match of delivery and billing address (=reporting address) for risk assessment reasons.


Depending on the country or shipping service provider your delivery is sent to, in most cases only one delivery attempt will be made. If the driver does not meet you, an alternative delivery will be attempted (e.g., to a neighbor's house), after which the package will be deposited for you at the nearest postal branch or parcel store. In this case, you will receive a notification and have 5 to 7 days to pick up the package yourself.
